Acacia retinodes is an evergreen Tree growing to 6 m .
It is hardy to zone 8. It is in leaf all year, in flower from February to August. The species is hermaphrodite .
It can fix Nitrogen.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic soils and can grow in very alkaline and saline soils.
It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought. The plant can tolerate maritime exposure.

HabitatsOccurs mainly in open forest in poorly drained soils inland from the coast.
