Allium altaicum is a BULB growing to 0.3 m .
It is hardy to zone 1. It is in flower from July to August. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Bees, insects.
It is noted for attracting wildlife.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic soils. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers moist soil.
