Lupinus luteus is a ANNUAL growing to 0.6 m by 0.3 m .
It is hardy to zone 6. It is in flower from June to July, and the seeds ripen from August to September. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Bees.
It can fix Nitrogen.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and can grow in nutritionally poor soil. Suitable pH: acid and neutral soils and can grow in very acid soils.
It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers moist soil.
