Astragalus glycyphyllos is a PERENNIAL growing to 0.2 m by 0.5 m .
It is hardy to zone 3. It is in flower from July to August, and the seeds ripen from August to October. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Bees, Lepidoptera .
It can fix Nitrogen.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic soils and can grow in very alkaline soils.
It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry soil.
