Gaultheria mucronata is an evergreen Shrub growing to 1.5 m by 1.2 m .
It is hardy to zone 6. It is in leaf all year, in flower from May to June, and the seeds ripen from October to December. The species is dioecious . and is pollinated by Insects. The plant is not self-fertile.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid soils and can grow in very acid soils.
It can grow in semi-shade or no shade. It prefers moist soil.
