Allium rubellum is a BULB growing to 0.6 m . It is in flower in June. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Bees, insects.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic soils. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil.

HabitatsDry steppes and semi deserts. Very free draining soils and coarse sands with a low water table in Kashmir.
