Allium senescens is a BULB growing to 0.5 m by 0.2 m at a medium rate.
It is hardy to zone 5 and is not frost tender. It is in flower from June to July. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Bees, flies, beetles, Lepidoptera . The plant is self-fertile.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic soils. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought.

Cultivation
