Allium subhirsutum is a BULB growing to 0.3 m .
It is hardy to zone 9 and is not frost tender. It is in leaf from October to June, in flower from April to May, and the seeds ripen from June to July. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Bees, insects.
Suitable for: light and medium soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic soils. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil.
